So I've completely stopped making pencil sketches and draw only with ballpoint pen now. ( I wonder if anyone's noticed... )
Of course there are still - and always will be - drawings that turn out bad, but I'm very happy not to have bits of pencil I can't erase off of my finished drawings anymore. When a drawing turns out right, it looks a lot nicer to me.
Without patting myself on the back too much, I can only do this due to practice, practice, practice. Took me a while to get back to this skill-level after years of, well, not drawing all that much. ( No idea how that happened, to tell you the truth. )
I can only hope to get better still with... you guessed it: more practice. Lucky thing I like to draw, huh?
